Anniversary

This month Ben and I are having our 8th wedding anniversary. As of May 1st we will have been together for a DECADE.

I think we are particularly well matched for each other (obviously!!). And I feel like I won a cosmic lottery to have found such a great husband to go through life with.

Yesterday we were reflecting on our accomplishments in life since getting together. We both had had some intense failures/ non-optimum situations that blew up before we got together.

In the last 10 years we have set goals and then accomplished them one by one. Got married, bought a house, had a kid, achieved new spiritual levels, etc…

It hasn’t always been a smooth and easy time. We have both experienced pain, stress, upset, loss, grief, etc… But the entire time we maintained the viewpoint of being a team. We don’t blame each other. We are each other’s best friend and biggest supporter.
