Motherhood is Sh*tty Sometimes

I was shown this post today on my facebook feed as something I wrote on the 30th of July 2018. At that time my son was about 8 months old.

On the way to the car this morning I think “awww, the baby is so cute”. The car is loaded, I am just taking the baby to put him in his car seat.

Then, as I reach the car I think “why is my arm wet” and use my other hand to find out what could be causing this sensation on my arm.

I now have both arms and hands covered in baby poo.

So now, how do I get my keys out of my purse?

The answer is… very carefully.

The hairband on my wrist was garbage.

Baby then went straight in the bath.

If you see a mom, and she looks like she has had a shitty day, she probably has.

Give her a coffee and tell her she is doing a good job.
